The assessment of visual acuity and refractive error is the basis for the prescription of proper eyeglasses or contact lenses.

Polatest

The Pola Test is a useful exam in the assessment of latent strabismus (lazy eye). The device generates specially designed test images that display parts of images capable of being perceived separately by the two eyes. This device differs from all the other devices used in optometry and ophthalmology in that the test is performed under completely normal viewing conditions.
